The Slow Bone in Dallas

Dallas is an underrated barbecue city and Slow Bone is one of their shining stars. Top notch Texas barbecue. The brisket is the real star here. But you won’t go wrong with sausage or ribs. Yes, thank the Sweet Lord, greens are on the menu. Be sure to get your cornbread, too. Happiness.

Very delicious ribs. Brisket very moist.Excellent choice of sides. Fried Okra is probably the best in town.There is self serve condiments and they have pickled onions in that.If you are anywhere near downtown this place is a no brainer.

Kinda disappointed. I had their brisket at the Smoked BBQ festival and it was really good. But when I ate at the restaurant it just wasn't the same. Little to no smoke flavor and the brisket wasn't trimmed so I ended paying for thick globs of fat I couldn't eat. Sides were good and the staff is friendly. Just a little pricey for fatty brisket.

Had a excellent experience in this place with my friend. The food came rapidly and the customer service is just great. Prices are convenient.

Top three BBQ spot in Dallas. Super location and great menu. Ribs and fried chicken are always delicious. Unusual sides are above and beyond the normal bbq joint fare. Get a brisket tamale if there are any left!

I’ve been to quite a few BBQ joints across Texas and the rest of the south and this one is my favorite. I’ve seen lots of positive reviews about the meat and fried chicken but the options of sides they provide might be my favorite part. The praline sweet potatoes and the chili mac make my mouth water just typing about them. The team that works there is always super friendly and accommodating and the food is always amazing. The vibe is relaxed and appealing and I would eat there every day if my body and wallet would allow it.

The food was really good and the staff were nice and helpful. I've never had fried chicken like this. I will be back.

I'm in town for a Basketball tournament I had a Taste for some BBQ. I was very impressed with the amazing flavor and taste. I will definitely be back when I come back into town. I Highly recommend this place Clean and Great Customer service.

Love the ribs and brisket were tender today. The macaroni cheese, greens, and corn bread reminds me of mother’s home cooking. I’m so happy you all were open on Memorial Day. If you can catch them before 2 you’re in luck.

Absolutely fabulous BBQ! I am a huge fan of the fried chicken, beef ribs, and Mac and cheese. This will be a definite stop again if I am back in the area!

Brisket is moist with excellent flavor their fried chicken is also very tasty. I highly recommend this place.
